Samran Place, Petchburi Road
overall not bad for a budget hotel.
would prefer to stay 4th floor onwards as the room is bigger.only minus point is no hot water flask. |

Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn
First Class Hotel. Perfect location right on the river at pier 13 giving direct access to the river boat. It is also a 5/10 minute walk to Kho San Road. We stayed in the corner room which had view to another building, which was quieter than the city view room (road noisey), but not as nice as the river view which is approx £10 - £15 more expensive. Downside of hotel was service - we ate in the restaurant one evening but would not recommend it as the main meal came out 2 mins after the starter, and the main meal (steak) was not good and nearly cold. Then the bill was wrong....overcharged, however they immediately corrected this. I would recommend restaurant for snack food....sandwiches etc. We also ordered room service for one meal and glass of wine.....they forgot to bring the wine. Apart from this I would definitely recommend the hotel, the rooms were newly & beautifully decorated with good size balconies (perfect if you smoke!)and also for the roof top swimming pool with excellent views accross the city. |
Our request was for corner room for 3 nights, for which we received an email confirming availability and requesting payment. I sent payment and then received a further email to advise the room was only available for 2 nights and we would need to change to city view for last night (we had already arrived at hotel). This was our last night before returning to Ireland, so was dissapointing. Tried to speak to reception staff but they did not understand (or pretended not to)- considering their emails were word perfect!! |

It s very convenient location just takes 5 mins to BTS.The room is very clean and cozy.Breakfast time is flexible untill 11AM,everyone can choose a set of breakfast.The price is really worthy.I will recommand it to my friends. |

Queen`s Garden Resort at River View, Airport - nearby Suvarnabhumi
Pros - location, comfortable, relatively quiet. If you use the internet you save 150bht and that makes the price reasonable.
Cons - they did not clean our room between nights we had to ask at the end of the day and then wait while they cleaned, we stayed 2 nights, restaurant very expensive, we ate nearby instead and saved about 250bht for the same food. |

This is our 3rd stay at this super hotel; breakfast buffet and restaurant is good and they have a variety of choices available. Staff were courteous and helpful when needed,room was big enough and comfortable.Excellent rooftop swimming pool/jacuzzi. Short walk (no more than 10min) to the skytrain ( Nana station) which is the easist way to get to the popular areas of Bangkok.Overall a nice hotel and a convenient location for our needs! |

The Regent Silom, Silom Road, Soi 02/1
The BTS Sala Daeng station is just outside the hotel so it s very very convenient. I also like that the hotel is located in the part of Silom Rd where all the bars and dining areas are.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. The double room that I got was clean and well-maintained. |

The hotel s location is the best feature of the place!. Couldnt have had a better lcoation than this one for us- since we were 6 bachelor guys wanting to have a good time in Bangkok!. Surrounded by the buzz of the city, with Patpong night market, Silom road, Lumpini night bazzar, the bars and restaurants just a walking distance away!!. The hotel was clean and rooms very tidy. Good housekeeping staff and very friendly front office staff. They could although do something different for breakfast coz eating the same set breakfast menu for a week can be very boring!. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my other friends as well. Good value for money- if someone is looking for a hotel with no frills and just basic accomodation which is clean and safe. |
