Samran Place, Petchburi Road
overall not bad for a budget hotel.
would prefer to stay 4th floor onwards as the room is bigger.only minus point is no hot water flask. |

Navalai River Resort, Khaosan Road area, Phranakorn
First Class Hotel. Perfect location right on the river at pier 13 giving direct access to the river boat. It is also a 5/10 minute walk to Kho San Road. We stayed in the corner room which had view to another building, which was quieter than the city view room (road noisey), but not as nice as the river view which is approx £10 - £15 more expensive. Downside of hotel was service - we ate in the restaurant one evening but would not recommend it as the main meal came out 2 mins after the starter, and the main meal (steak) was not good and nearly cold. Then the bill was wrong....overcharged, however they immediately corrected this. I would recommend restaurant for snack food....sandwiches etc. We also ordered room service for one meal and glass of wine.....they forgot to bring the wine. Apart from this I would definitely recommend the hotel, the rooms were newly & beautifully decorated with good size balconies (perfect if you smoke!)and also for the roof top swimming pool with excellent views accross the city. |
Our request was for corner room for 3 nights, for which we received an email confirming availability and requesting payment. I sent payment and then received a further email to advise the room was only available for 2 nights and we would need to change to city view for last night (we had already arrived at hotel). This was our last night before returning to Ireland, so was dissapointing. Tried to speak to reception staff but they did not understand (or pretended not to)- considering their emails were word perfect!! |

Bangkok City Inn, Rajdamri Road, near CWP
Very satisfactory. Room size just nice. Breakfast ok. Location utmost convenient.
Would always stay here if in Bangkok.
Somehow quite a lot of taxis dont know its existence and for first timer locating it is a problem. Must cure this. |

Great hotel! I can highly recommend Navalai River Resort in Bangkok. Clean rooms, great location and friendly staff. No problems and you can even get a relaxing swim on the roof getting away from busy Bangkok. |

Davinci Suite Hotel, Sukhumvit Road, Soi 31
It s very convenient location just takes 5 mins to BTS.The room is very clean and cozy.Breakfast time is flexible untill 11AM,everyone can choose a set of breakfast.The price is really worthy.I will recommand it to my friends. |

Queen`s Garden Resort at River View, Airport - nearby Suvarnabhumi
Pros - location, comfortable, relatively quiet. If you use the internet you save 150bht and that makes the price reasonable.
Cons - they did not clean our room between nights we had to ask at the end of the day and then wait while they cleaned, we stayed 2 nights, restaurant very expensive, we ate nearby instead and saved about 250bht for the same food. |

Especially after our adventures in India and Nepal, your hotel was a wonderful stopover on our way home to California through Bangkok. Although we only stayed overnight for a quick hot shower and dinner, your airport shuttle service, extremely clean triple room, and friendly service made our brief stay relaxing and convenient. |
