We enjoyed this restaurant. Yes it is close some bars that seem to attract Caucasian men looking for Thai women... but the Thai people were friendly. Being asked for massages was more intrusive (citywide). Friendly staff. Safari day excursion was great. Not a 5* hotel but a good 3+*.

If you are looking for luxury go somewhere else. If you want to stay in a nice secure hotel with friendly staff in the best position in Chiang Mai then this is the spot. Maybe not the best family position because of the girlie bars in the evening but if you want to live and breathe Thailand then this is the spot. Very safe even in the early hours of the morning. Do yourself a favour and rent a scooter while you are there.

Not noisy though there are many bars in the street. Beautiful rooms and good breakfast. Swimming pool is outside of the hotel and a lot smaller than expected.

Raming Lodge was real convenient,less than 5 minute walk to the night market ,restaurants and entertainment areas.The hotel staff were real friendly and was always there to assist.The free pick up service was on time at the airport and the hotel.The Deluxe rooms were good and room was spacious. Breakfast was ok,but don t be fooled by the free mini bar,as they only stock the minibar with 2 cans of cooldrink,as well as 2 open glasses of fruit juice every morning.They also do not stock the minibar with any alcohol.Fruit is also minimal. We did not use the minibar as we were mostly out during the day. Despite the misleading mini bar advertisement,I may use this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Raming Lodge. The staff were very friendly and plenty of them to assist, some had perfect english and others did not, however they always went to the effort of getting a better english speaking staff if they couldn t understand.
The location is handy to the Sunday markets and the Night Bazaar is down the street, but not a long walk at all. There are bars right near hotel and massages across the road that are awesome value.
Breakfast were very good, lots of choice and excellent omelletes made to order.
Pool was good, its only a back lane that you cross to get to it (30m), I would not be put off by that as some people have mentioned.

godt hotel ikke langt fra nigth Bazaren rene værelser god morgenmad meget at vælge imellem, venlige personale hyggelige poolområde selvom at det ligger over en lille vej.
