Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach This hotel ist fantastic! The stuff is so friendly, so kind! My sister had an accident and they cared so lovely for us. The owner himself helped her walking. The room was perfectly cleaned everyday. The restaurant is very clean and has seaview from every seat. They have a car rental service which I used twice. Down the beach are really good restaurants if you need a little variation although the hotel restaurant is great! You can snorkle right at the beach in front of the hotel. Great coloured fish! On the street up the hill (5-10 Minutes walk) are several ATM, NExt to the hotel are 3 shops where aou can buy second hand books in english, german etc, soda, clothes, telephonecards, sknokleequipment and what else you need. If you don´t want to you don´t need to go to Tongsala, the city. You can buy everything here. From the balcony you have a perfect view on the sea with breathtaking sunsets!!!I love to come again and again and again!!! Thank you for the oh so nice stay we had because of you! |
great! No problem for one night or 3 or whatever you want |

Salad Hut, Salad Beach Excellent hotel right on Salad Beach. Rooms were fine, we had one with a fan and it was more than adequate we even had a sea view. Breakfast was very good as well.
Would definately be back. |
Excellent, no problems at all. |

Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach Strange... There is a potential but it s not quite there. The rooms are beautiful and specious, but the service is too minimal. Things like stained table covers, not enough smiles at the reception, very minimal spa, the face that not even once they asked us if we enjoy our stay etc. made us feel that we want to spend our money elswhere. Plus it was our honeymoon and they didn t even say anything, not to mention fruit basket, flowers or anything like that. |
Smooth and easy. |

Buakao Inn, Thong Sala This inn located in entrance of Thong Sala town, in walking inside even with anything I needed (7/11, float village, bank, travel agency, rental motorcycle, souvenir shops, tesco/lotus) it is very convenient location. From here it could keep walking to the pier in about few minutes. Because the ferry to Surat Thani of the next day early morning 7:00 was departure (9:00 with season off cancellation), while rolling the heavy baggage, walking, it was helped in the nearness which it can do to pier in several minutes. The room was single with fan, no air conditioner. Room temperature was 31.5℃. When I stopped the fan, the sweat gushed. The rest & shower room was to a fee it was wide. As for the shower temperature did not rise. Fee was THB495. Stopping the fan, while I closed the window going out, when I returned to the room, the kind of old smell a little did. After that, when, the fan went out without stopping, while the window was opened, it was cancelled. With in the room of the 2nd floor and I could use WIFI with the coffee shop of the 1st floor. A s Coffee Shop of 1st floor was tastiest in PhaNgan(illy coffee), it was THB35 and kind fee. The owner was tall white middle-aged man, the appearance was cool. Also the interior was cool, just this, the inn and the coffee shop of the wharf. It soaked in exoticism, this was the exactly inn. With this location, this fee was satisfactory very much. I would like to stay again. Next time at the room of the air conditioner attaching. |
Excellent and easy to use, very quick response to booking request and emails.
No problem. |

Coco Garden Bungalows, Ban Tai Beach Free and easy with convenient location at reasonable price. I chose here in the base of my first PhaNgan stay. In order to be accustomed to the island, I stayed for 4 days. Here was close to the town of Thong Sala and to the village of Baan Tai, there was a beach, location calls and comparatively, I think very reasonable. It was THB850 at the bungalow of air conditioner attaching double bed. Because a little there was a distance from main road, it was very quiet and cozy. The hammock which is hung in the terrace feeling very comfortable. My bungalow most was the inner part from the beach, but because it was facing the beach, when the curtain is opened, feeling good for the beach to be visible. When I walked to 7/11, because well enough there was a distance, it was more comfortable to have a motorcycle. The motorcycle was THB200 per day. The bike man was very kind, he transferred me to the next hotel placing me at the rear seat. If difficult point was said, in the room only one shelves of rattans and bed not to be at all, and especially there is no refrigerator it was harsh to me. WIFI at only the restaurant was available. It didn’t fly to the room. The beach was shallow, cannot swim. When the tide pulled, could walk rather to the distance to the sea. Staffs were all kind, but a little shy. I would like to stay again. |

Salad Hut, Salad Beach If you want to spend some days on a calm, beautiful place. This is the place
to be!
- Awesome sea view.
- Pleasant and serviceminded staff.
- Reliable internet. Worth its price. (1 baht/minute). Speed OK.
- Well designed and furnished rooms.
- Nice restaurant with splendid coffee and delicious thaifood.
- Rather big and fresh swimmingpool with sea view.
- Pooltable and a library.
- 500 m beautiful beach.
- Ok sea bathing. Lowtide . Mind your feet of corals and stones. You better
wear sandals avoiding nasty surprises.
This hotel suits families with kids well. If you are looking for shopping
and big adventures Phangan is not a place for you, but if you are looking
for a place without screaming salesmen and taylors ? This is paradise !
We spent a week here and a week on Samui. We found it a good mix! |

Cookies Salad Resort, Salad Beach Stayed here as a couple for 5 nights, had a great time. Staff were lovely, panoramic room had an amazing view, food was very tasty and good value (actually, everything was good value). Very family friendly resort (staff seemed to be really good with the kids staying with other families) but didn t cause any problems for us. Some construction work ongoing at the time we were there (two new huts being built at the top of the cliff near to the panoramic room, and a resort next door being finished) but it really wasn t much of an issue for us. TBH there s building work all over KPN at the moment anyway, looked like it would be finished by the end of the season.
Good location on NW of island near ko ma and other nice beaches, a few bars including the reggae bar on the hill behind salad beach. although if you want to go further than salad beach or the little village on the main road you ll have to get taxi s or hire a bike (note the roads are *very* tricky, anyone riding a moped for the first time here is just plain crazy)
Great snorkling to be found at cookies side of the bay, ask the staff for where. |
Asked whether construction was still on-going, was told no despite a new resort being constructed next door and new rooms being built on site. Bad show www.thailand-hotel-reservation.net, lucky for you cookies was so nice my holiday wasn t spoilt by it. |

Coco Garden Bungalows, Ban Tai Beach I went to Coco Garden with my wife and a friend of ours for two nights - to attend the Half Moon Party. We were so pleased with our choice. The air conditioned bungalows we stayed in were clean, charming and simply furnished. Exactly what we needed and had hoped for. The rest of the resort was a delight. The staff are just lovely and the beachfront bar was a great place to congregate and loosen up before the party with a few cocktails and beers. The restaurant served yummy Thai food with a smile and the setting was just beautiful. I guess, as others have mentioned, the beach was a bit of a letdown but not such a big deal that I would not stay here again. Apparently the tidal problem only happens a few weeks of the year and honestly, it didn t bother us that much. A great resort on a lovely island - we will definitely return. Thanks Adrian, Lee, Tai and all the other great people running the place. David, Chryss and Gill. |
No problems whatsoever. Super easy, efficient and completely accurate. |

Candle Hut Resort, Thong Nai Pan Yai Candle Hut s location, (far end of Yai beach), is good. The beach itself is picturesque and pretty.
The newer bungalows are modern, clean and nice. They are however equipt with an outdoor shower, where the shower is mounted are sliding glass doors which lead on to the resort area. While the idea of an outdoor shower is fun and romantic it is also very impractical as the glass doors facing the shower are only covered by a shower curtain hanging from a rod. This means that if it is windy, the shower curtain moves, leaving a clear view of both the shower and toilet area, leaving you exposed to anyone whom passes by your bungalow.
The pool was extremly dirty and definitely not child friendly. Nobody used the pool. Luckily we were able to use the pool at the neighbouring resort, which enabled us to stay at Candle Hut for the duration of our holiday at Thong Nai Pan Yai.
Service left a lot to be desired. While the owner herself was very friendly, others in her staff came across as unprofessional and on a couple of occasions unfriendly. By 16:00 our bungalow still hadn t been cleaned and we were left chasing after clean towels etc. Staff also sat around the bungalow and pool area, smoking and snacking which came across as quite unprofessional.
The pool and beach furniture were horrible. They were broken or very old and scarce. The beach was also very badley cleand in front of the resort, ciggaretts and plastic parts everywere.
The overall experience was definitely not worth the price of the rooms and we shall not be staying there again.
The dirty pool was the worse.
