Silvery Moon Bungalow, Ban Tai Beach Upon arriving, don t be scared. You are in the right place. And it is a little piece of paradise. At Silvery Moon, you will get a private beach with beautiful sunsets, homecooked meals from an amazing Thai cook, good music, and a simple bungalow. We weren t sure what we were walking into at first, but after an hour, we realized we were exactly where we wanted to be. Make sure to have the Red or Green Curry, and the Banana Pancake for dessert. Koi & Beat are great and I fully recommend Silvery Moon. |

Salad Beach Resort, Salad Beach Very nice Stay, location perfect for relaxing, snorkelling and diving. staff was friendly and room clean, air condition not really working in our Beach Front Bungalow. REstaurant was good (if you like Thai food). We enjoyed our Honeymoon there. |

Salad Hut, Salad Beach We were there for 3 nights -Heaven!!
but ,it is a pity , i think that the owners are a little bit greedy .
The 2 free bottles of water that we get at evrey hotel that we stay at Thailnd were the cheapest kind with aftertaste . The breakfast,in my opinion, is very poor-the American breakfast include : 1 hot drink+ 1 refill, fruit juice , 2 eggs with 2 small pices of bacon , 2 wonderful slices of bread, butter and jam. If you will ask for extra slice of bread , (to eat with the jum)thay will charge you!
At the bathroom ,there is only little soap that during our stay almost gone and thay didn t replace.
2 general comment: we stay at bungalow no 1 it was full with mini-ants.
During our stay made construction work next to the restaurant ,at area of the owners and it s was a little bit nuisance at breakfast.
And yes ! I will be more then glad to be again in this magnificent place with the friendly staff and the delicious Thai food!!!!! |

Mandalai Hotel, Chaloklum Bay Staff were very friendly and helpful and staff who cleaned the rooms did a good job. Hotel was always nicely presented and clean. However, on the first day i requested staff ensure there were enough umbrellas on the beachside deck for all and that never happened so on occasions we couldnt go down and lie on the deck as not enough shade.
Sheesha restaurant service was fast and food was nice and room service was also good. Portions could have been larger though and the milk in the morning for breakfast was warm and should have been cold.
Transfer charged to pick up and drop to the pier for the boat should have been free or less than the 400 Baht charged since it was staff doing the driving.
For the transfer to the full moon party, most people had to sit in the back tray section of the car and while this is acceptable for locals this was totally unacceptable for foreigners and women especially and i know that many people were offended and greatly surprised by this action. Plus the cost since there was so many in only one car should have been discounted.
Also if more foreign TV channels were available that would have been even better.
Hot water in the shower was usually not hot enough and should be fixed.
Overall i enjoyed my stay and appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff! Was plenty to do nearby the hotel if desired or could just lie around the pool and beach. |

Salad Hut, Salad Beach We stayed in this hotels for 8 nights. For this price it is definitely the best accomodation at Haad Salad. It is small, clean and except some crying children and barking dogs during the night and in the morning very quiet. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. Some of them can speak english well. We changed bungalow during our stay. In the first bungalow we had many little flies and a cockroach in the bathroom. The second bungalow (family bungalow) was much nicer and cleaner. |
everything fine |

Morning Star Resort, Ban Tai Beach Fantastic stay at the morninig star, the new owners were very helpful and greatly enthusiastic about their new business. I would higly recommend staying here. |
when trying to book acccomodation near haad Rin for the full moon party I was continually beinf offfered hotels at the north west of the isladn even though i requested somewhere near Haad Rin, such as Ban tai beach. it took quite some time before I was offered the morning star resort so it felt like the agent was tryig to force me to stay in the north west. |
