Nice and relaxed place. The restaurant is very good - some of the best food we had in Thailand was at Salad Hut. The room is ok. Nothing special, but clean and the balcony is nice. The pool is small, but it is cooled down which is great unlike many other hotels where the temperature is too high. We were a family with 3 small kids and we all enjoyed the stay. Not sure I would recommend it to couples even though its a nice and cosy place.

Nice resort,located directly on the beach.Good food but poor breakfast.Nice and clean bungalows but with very hard matress (was really my nightmare).The beach was very clean and the water also.

Die Anlage ist sehr zu empfehlen. Am Strand entlang ist alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Salad Beach Restaurant ist das Beste. Super Essen u. super Service. Nur das Meer ist nicht optimal zum Baden. Der nächste Strand im Norden der Insel ist jedoch absolut super und ein Muss. Mit dem Roller ist er in ein paar Minuten erreichbar.

This is an outstanding property with breathtaking views, beautiful friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast. I travel often and with 2 children in tow we found the stay at salad hut to be relaxing and in a great quiet family friendly location. The room is basic but clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and room had a DVD player and large TV. Balconies have hammocks and hotel has spectacular restraint. Hotel is situated between worlds best massage hut and on a pristine beach. Had the best curry of my life at the restaurant behind the hotel ask for Chris from centre bar (his wife is the cook and omg!!!!)Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to be back there now!!!

one of the biggest downside for us was the shore. when there are tides there are almost no sand to walk on (from 14:00 to late night). only in the morning you can see the white sand which is not that white since there are many shredded corals that makes the sand not so smooth. our baby (2 year old) had a hard time walking on it.
the resort itself is very nice, the room we stayed in was their sea villas, which are very big (there are 2 villas one next to the other with almost shared balcony). the family next to us where very loud and unpleasant. we asked to change to the other regular rooms which seemed nicer but smaller - but in the end we decided to leave to a better place on another shore... ofcourse our money was not returned.
the resort pool is very small.
we wont return there. we prefer a quite atmosphere with a very nice beach any time over that small strip of sand.

The staff at Salad Hut were lovely - warm, welcoming & efficient. Rooms were very clean, beds were fabulous and resort itself small, lush and intimate. V. Popular with families and kids easily make friends around the pool. Not so great for couples as many of the bungalows have limited privacy.

Salad Hut is located on the tranquil northwest coast of Koh Phangan island on beautiful Haad Salad beach.
We offer you a chilled home away from home with Thai and Western home cooking, full bar with cocktails, taxi service and rustic bungalows set around a lush tropical garden.
Last year has seen an extensive renovation and re-building of Salad Hut. The old rooms are replaced with bigger, wooden bungalows with big verandas.
There is also an infinity swimming pool in the garden, a welcome relief for the hot, low tide period.

ACCOMMODATION
Salad Hut's 10 lovely bungalows are situated in a lush tropical garden amidst an infinity swimming pool, bamboo, palm trees
and flowers right along the beach. There is only one row, and all our rooms are beachfront or beach- and pool front.
All bungalows have stunning views of beautiful Haad Salad beach from the big wooden veranda. The hot water is solar powered,
and there is a refrigerator for cool drinks in all bungalows. There are TVs in all rooms, with a selection of international news and movie channels for those (hopefully not many) rainy days.
Our 5 family bungalows have two double beds in one room, and our 4 doubles and 1 deluxe has one double bed.

SERVICES & FACILITIES
Salad Hut Restaurant and Bar offers a wide choice of home-cooked Thai and Western food. Thai specialties include appetizers such as spring rolls,
stir-fried cashew nuts and Yam spicy salads, Tom Yam (hot and spicy) soup, Tom Ka Gai, Red, Green and Panang curries, and an assortment of fresh seafood.
Breakfast is included in the price and is made to order. On the menu you will find American as well as continental and fruit breakfasts with toast,
cheese, eggs, pancakes and fruit salad. Our full beach bar can wet your thirst with beers, mixed cocktails and Thai whiskeys.

Salad Hut Bungalows is located on Haad Salad beach on the northwest coast of Koh Phangan.
Koh Phangan can easily be reached from Bangkok by your choice of air-conditioned bus, train (to Surat Thani) or plane Koh Samui island) then by express boat.
Overland bus and train routes are best taken overnight and trains offer convenient sleeper service with connections from the train station in Surat Thani to the port and on to Koh Phangan (Thong Sala town).
You will have no problem finding a taxi in Thong Sala to take you to Salad Hut. From Malaysia and the south of Thailand, similar bus, train and plane options are also available.

We have only 10 bungalows and all reservations matter to us. We expect you to honor this booking as it was made,
as we will, and will ask for the full amount to be paid on arrival. This is non-refundable. Refusal to do so may result in us refusing you a bungalow at our resort.
Any changes are to be made well before arrival, not while checking in.
We will hold a booked bungalow for you for one night only. If you fail to show up or do not let us know of your late arrival, we will consider the bungalow cancelled.***
