It s a very enjoyable stay. The room was very spacious with a good view and the staff are very friendly. The buffet breakfast was massive and I had a really good time there.

Very good value for money hotel. I stayed in the older wing but it was still very good. Clean well maintained room. Very good fitness center, swimming pool ok and a good spread for breakfast. Staff were friendly. Hotel is a great location if you are after a city hotel, near markets and the bus station

I´ve stayed at Star Hotel many times.This hotel is good value for money.Nice friendly staff good breakfast
and large clean rooms.If you want to see
a little of Thai market life stay there on a Friday night.

clean rooms, friendly staff,the location is very good for shopping, local food market and week market, lotus supermarket etc., the breakfast is ok, in hotel are more asian guests, so it is more asian breakfast than american...but its very good....the price is more than ok! 1000THB per night is a bargain for this! the offered wireless internet connection is not free (50 ThB) and very slow!
my overall impression is very good, recommend for business, not so recommend for people, who want go every day on beach ;)

Stort, halvtråkigt hotell men med bra service. Tråkig frukostbuffe....
Vi bokade transfer via hotellet , från Bangkoks flygplats till hotellet och det fungerade utmärkt.
Jag kan rekomendera hotellet som bra övernattning om man är på väg ut till Koh Samet. Lagom avstånd från Bangkok och sedan kan man dagen efter ta sig vidare ut till Koh Samet.

Rayong is located on Thailand's eastern seaboard, about 180 kilometers from Bangkok. Covering an area of 3552 square kilometers
and 100 kilometers of beach along the Gulf of Thailand, Rayong has plenty to offer for all visitors. The Samet Marine National Park is located in Rayong province and
consists of 10 islands with clear waters and white sandy beaches. Rayong is divided into the 5 districts of Muang Rayong, Klaneg, Ban Khai, Pluak Daeng, Bang Chang,
and the sub-district of Wang Chan. The population of Rayong province is around 420,000 people. Today Rayong is one of Thailand's premiere tourist destination and
industrial center with U-tapao airport, Laem Chabang and Map Ta Phut Ports.
Getting there: From Bangkok take the 3 Highway or the new Bangkok-Chonburi motorway and the 36 Highway. Traveling time is approximately 2.5 hours. You can also take a bus from the Ekamai bus terminal in eastern Bangkok to Rayong's bus terminal in the center of town.
