Even being so small, Cocooning offers full service and all comfort and convenience for the modern traveler. Each room is beautifully decorated in a different and individual style.
A small swimming pool is there for an always relaxing day. The Bophut Beach can be reached just in a few steps over the little road.
And on top – all restaurant and boutiques are just a few steps away, stroll around and enjoy the international flair in the traditional Thai village.
Busy Chaweng is a short 15 minutes drive away.

What an amazing find! Taxi driver had to wind side mirrors in to negotiate his way though side streets and past carvings. Tucked away right in the middle of the village. Restaurants, shop, markets,wharf, pool and beach all within 2 minutes walk. Not that you need any other restaurant, resident chef turned out some of the best food we ate in Thailand! Mein Host was wonderful, we felt like regulars straightaway. Nothing was too much trouble, only had the 1 night in transit, next time we will definately be there longer. If you are looking for budget accommodation, look no further because for a budget price, here, you get so much more. As well as the dinkiest little cocktail sipping pool. Thanks Guys, loved your place.

If i travel again to Koh Samui, definitely, i still will stay at Cocooning Hotel. The outstanding services from all the Cocooning Hotel staff, no matter in getting opinion of travel/info around island, tour to other island, room cleaning service, and many many more. never regret.

This small hotel has delightful staff. The room was simple, rustic and clean. Not a glamorous hotel by any means, but a private balcony, hot water (yes!!!). It s run by an Australian, so the standards are pretty high, and I have already recommended it to budget travelers. Its on the side street of Fishermans VIllage, very convenient to the airport. I was surprised about the cost, reasonable, free wifi, but don t expect a swish hotel, its decor is probably aimed at young 20 s or overnighters, which I was.

Vi bodde 8nätter på cocooning,över möblerat rum,läckande handfat,trasiga lampor. Hade beställt pick up service från flygplatsen men ingen hämtade upp oss.Tog oss då själva till hotellet där tjejen som tog emot inte hade en aning om att vi skulle komma,extrasängen vi redan betalat för var inte på plats och man ville att vi skulle betala för den ytterligare en gång ingen bra start alltså.Flickorna på hotellet underbara.Själva hotellet och ledningen aldrig igen. Dyrt.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, the staff very friendly and helpful and the room, although smaller than I had expected, was clean. I think that the management has now replaced all the mattresses after the various comments in reviews and therefore the bed was very comfortable. It is in a quiet location in Fishermans Village, but building is going on next door. (I was fortunate in that nothing seemed to be happening during my brief stay.) I only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was lovely. All in all, excellent value for money and I will return!
PS.Th pool is possibly the smallest one I ve ever come across, but would be good to get wet in and enjoy a beer in!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cocooning hotel. The room was lovely, the area was perfect, the food was really good and the staff were always helpful. We especially liked the young girl who seemed to be working a lot during our stay. Excellent service.

Had a wonderful stay there with my wife & young son(11). Staff very friendly, went out of their way to help us.(bike&car). Room a bit small for the 3 of us but perfect for 2. Small pool which our son loved. Overall would recommend to anybody.

This was a great place! We were only there for two nights but found the room to be very cozy and clean. The decor was one of the best and the staff was very helpful. It is located in Fishermans Village, Bophut Beach, which is a great location

The cocooning hotel is a nice place in Fishermans Village. But there is a very big building site next to the hotel...the night is over at 7:00 a.m.
And the matresses in the rooms (at least in room number 6) are not the best, sorry fot that...
