ACCOMMODATION

Each of our villas combines modern comfort with traditional Thai charm and features a balcony or terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding coastline. The resort itself is comprised of 8 separate buildings laced throughout landscaped gardens. As well, there are 2 separate infinity swimming pools located in different villa areas. There is a full service restaurant on premise.



The 2 distinct villa areas are composed of 5 villas each, and 1 swimming pool. Camellia has its own private pool as well. In the south villa area, Orchid and Gardenia share one villa building, and Jasmine and Plumeria share. Lotus, our flagship villa stands alone. In the north villa compound, Amarin and Camellia share our largest and most prominent villa building, each villa having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Malee and Jumpee share the other villa building both overlooking the pool. Leelawadee stands alone at the northern most point of the property.

:: Lotus Villa (sleeps 4) ::

Lotus Villas is Sandalwood's flagship villa. There are 2 floors each with their own bedroom and bathroom areas covering over 150 sq.m. of indoor space. The second floor master bedroom has an outdoor bath with a gorgeous view. The main floor bedroom has a king size bed and marble bathroom with a glass shower and free form tub with an awesome ocean view.



Lotus villa also has a fully equipped kitchen, dinning room and living room. Floor to ceiling glass doors open up to the most amazing 270 degree view of the surrounding coastline from its enormous open air balcony. Thai decorative art and furnishings can be found throughout this villa.

:: Leelawadee Villa (sleeps 6) ::
Leelawadee Villa is Sandalwood's most secluded villa and features a Jacuzzi plunge pool on a covered outdoor balcony overlooking Chaweng beach and the neighboring islands.



The ranch style design features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The en-suite master bedroom also has an outdoor shower and free form bathtub. Full kitchen and living room open up to an extra large terrace with magnificent views.

:: Camellia Villa (sleeps 4) ::
Camellia Villa is one of our loveliest villas with private pool. The main bedroom has a luxurious king size bed .The second bedroom has a queen size bed. This 2 bedroom 2 bath villa has sweeping panoramic views of the coastline and outer islands. This spacious villa is designed with marble, granite, and hardwoods throughout. A private pool is set into the terrace.



The master bathroom has granite countertops with oversized wash basins and a separate shower/ roman tub. There is also a full kitchen for your use. Extensive glass windows and doors provide a light, airy feel which is complimented by cool marble floors, traditional Thai furniture and stylish decor.

Amarin: The main bedroom has a luxurious king size bed .The second bedroom has a queen size bed. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa has beautiful ocean views of the coastline and outer islands. It has all the comforts of home including a well equipped kitchen. The villa has extensive marble, granite and hardwood throughout. It has a very spacious terrace with its own private outdoor Jacuzzi bath. This villa located next to the swimming pool.



The generous marble and granite bathrooms have granite countertops with oversized wash basins, and a separate shower/bath. There is traditional Thai furniture and stylish decor.

:: Malee Villa (sleeps 2) ::
Like Jumpee, Malee is also a 1 bedroom deluxe villa design with marble, granite and hardwood throughout .This villa has a very open indoor/outdoor feeling. The terrace is quite spacious and is adjacent to our infinity edged pool. The private Jacuzzi is fitted in the corner of the covered terrace villa has a very open indoor/outdoor feeling. Jumpee Villa is a one bedroom deluxe villa design with marble, granite and hardwood throughout. This villa has sweeping panoramic views of the coastline and outer islands.It has a very spacious indoor outdoor feeling. Located right next to the swimming pool, this villa has an outdoor Jacuzzi bath which is fitted in the corner of the terrace next to a garden and fountain area.



There is also a kitchenette. Extensive glass windows and doors provide a light, airy feel which is complimented by cool marble floors, traditional Thai furniture and stylish decor.

:: Plumeria villa (sleeps 2) ::
Plumeria is a one bedroom Thai modern villa with own private pool. The interior has sliding glass doors on two sides that Lead out to your own private infinity pool. The outdoor garden area also has its own pavilion, perfect for relaxing, reading or dining. This villa has a great indoor/outdoor ambience. It has a well equipped kitchenette and a spacious marble and granite bathroom.

:: Jasmine Villa (sleeps 2+Loft) ::
Jasmine Villa is a beautiful and romantic villa, Jasmine Villa features 2 sleeping areas: 1 king size bed on the main level, and 1 queen size in a open loft. This open loft is a great place for children. Conveniently located right next to the swimming pool. The spacious open beam teakwood ceiling reflects traditional Thai architecture.



Sliding glass doors open from the bedroom area out to the terrace with breathtaking views. There is a terrazzo bath where you can relax and soak in the ocean view.

Gardenia Villa (sleeps 2)
Gardenia Villa is cozy and modern in style, Gardenia villas extensive glass doors and windows create a wonderfully light and airy atmosphere. The sleeping area is a luxurious king size bed. There is a small outdoor terrace surrounded by a garden and waterfall. There is a Jacuzzi bath in the marble bathroom.

Sandalwood Restaurant & Bar
One of the real pleasures of Thailand is its delicious cuisine and Sandalwood Restaurant, under the guidance of renowned local chef, specializes in creating authentic regional dishes with a modern twist. The menu has been designed to offer a real range of Thai flavors, from aromatic soups to the wonderfully spicy curries; each and every dish is cooked to order using the very finest fresh local ingredients.



Complimenting the exotic flavours and aromas, the restaurant is situated on a covered terrace and offers spectacular views of the Gulf of Siam and Chaweng Bay. The location is truly stunning and makes a beautiful setting for a romantic candle lit dinner.


Cookery Classes
At Sandalwood restaurant we also offer the opportunity to learn how to create authentic Thai dishes so that you can enjoy the flavors of your trip when you return home. Courses are available for complete beginners, as well as those who are already familiar with Thai cookery and require advanced level training. The classes can be taken on a one-on-one basis or in small groups of up to four persons.


SANDALWOOD SPA

Our spa is decorated with traditional Thai furnishings, an herbal steam room and roof top sun deck. We also offer single or double treatment rooms to enjoy all of our spa packages.
The Spa hours are 10 A.M. to 7 P.M. everyday.

The Sandalwood Spa's Signature massage

This treatment originated in Thailand and is based on Thai medicine. Some guests say its like having yoga done for you. Thai massage incorporates passive stretches borrowed from Yoga with a variety of pressure point work, therapeutic stretching and reflexology to open the body and stimulate energy flow, leaving you relaxed yet energized.

Once you've tried the basic spa treatments, you might want to branch out to different types of massage like Thai massage , Oil Massage or reflexology. You should talk to your esthetician about what facial services or body treatments would be most appropriate for your skin type. Our spa also has a nail salon offering spa manicures and spa pedicures .

Enjoy a massage with your significant other in the privacy of either an indoor or outdoor couples treatment room. You'll lie on side-by-side tables while your therapists synchronize your massage experience, so you each experience exactly the same thing at the same time, bringing your energies truly in sync. Choose from relaxation, deep tissue or hot stone massage.
