The Star Villa's most
prominent feature is the special laminate glass roof with electric
sunshade system. The sunshade is adjustable according to weather
conditions. During evenings, the sunshade can be switched open to allow
clear views of the sunset and starlit sky from the living room and
balcony. The light emerald-green tint of the glass roof provides
protection from UV rays during the day while allowing natural light to
fill the open room.

Quality finishes include
polished terrazzo floors with brass trimming throughout the living room
and master bedroom, sandstone fascia wall tiles in the washrooms and
hardwood windows and door frames. Access to the second floor bedroom and
balcony is via stylish cantilever stairs. No expense is spared for the
teak wood
flooring in second bedroom. The ensuite bathrooms feature designer chrome
bath-ware with dual sink basins and seashell terrazzo vanity counter.
The master bathroom includes a
Jacuzzi with skylight and indoor garden. Large folding doors and windows,
allowing contemplation of the spectacular views at sea, swivel open to
allow the soft coastal and warm sunlight to flow amorphously over the
surroundings. There is much visible timber throughout these construction,
giving an impression of natural angularity, with firm weight-bearing
pilasters dispersed outside of an essentially European design.

In the
adjacent Beach Villa, there is an attractive kite tile roof, Samui style.
The kitchen, likewise, features a lot of wood an dthe same polished
terrazzo flooring.
Cooking areas are surrounded by glazed clay tiles with a durable
granite-top counter. The kitchen is fitted with world-renowned SMEG
appliances with standard inclusions comprising of a 4 range
facilities laundry machines and serves as a storage area.
Again
the folding glass doors surround the Beach Villa to take advantage
of the sea views and allow the coastal breeze to naturally cool the
entire villa. Outside, the Beach Villa is interconnected with a
wooden sala deck and infinity-edge swimming pool.
The pool features a sandwash bench with seatback water jets to
provide a soothing massage. Also, a shallow area ensures children
can also enjoy the pool as well.
Security of
the property is provided by a fully independent integrated security and
fire alarm system. The system features the ability to dial out to a
pre-programmed phone number and give information on the nature of the
emergency. A nearby security monitoring station or police could be
informed and immediately dispatch personnel to check up on the house.
Conveniently situated just off the ring road, one can reach tarmac in a
matter of minutes and be in town just minutes later. Kao Laem Noi means
"Little stretch of beach" and this is born out by the dimensions, running
only just over a kilometre either side of the residence. The sun sets to
the west and casts a long evening shadow from the adjacent hillside.
