Samui Orchid Resort, Laem Set Beach
We stayed in Villa 3 for 6 days. Children loved the swimming pool in front of the villa. Beach restaurants food was good and ok for price.Staff was frienly. This hotel has every possibility to be best place in the whole beach. Beach sand is fine and white.It could be dream come true. BUT! In the room smelled bad. Showers and toilets where not well cleaned. Outside was lot of trash, it looked like they really don´t care. Why I ask? With taking care of places and own property is matterof course for most of the people. |

A good hotel, enough quiet, a very nice superior building room but some problems with hot water. Great staff (very very kindly), but poor and bad breakfast (because of which I have not felt well). |

Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach
Very nice and professionally run place. The pool side is quite small but the beach service worked very well. Staff spoke english well. We are very much looking forward returning here next year :) |

Bill Resort, Lamai Beach
Paradise on earth. Very nice hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfasts. Located in a more calm part of Lamai but within walking-distans to Lamai center. With its low prices and the location almost on the beach you couldn´t come closer to reel paradise. I will definantly stay here again if I ever come back to Koh Samui and Lamai. |
The booking-service was excellent. Absolutely nothing to complane about. |

Als Resort, Chaweng Beach
The resort staffs are friendly. Anyway, for those who plan to be there, please ensure to take in your request not to be located in room 316. The room s backyard is very smelly - like an antiseptic tank. And when I escalated to the staff, there was no immediate action taken (with the reasons all staff are busy), neither the room can be replaced (with the reason all similar rooms are fully booked). After 3hours the duty manager just went there just for the sake of saying ‘hi’ but did nothing about it even making a courtesy by sending an apologize note for the inconvenience caused.
The environment and the beach was good except we were a bit disappointed with the price we pay for a good resort like that; we have to bare with bad odor when we open the backyard door during our entire stay. |
Ms Tim (your padidiveguides agent) has demonstrated a customer service value where she has tried her best to find a good accommodation as per my request on timely basis. Well organize and good job! |

The hotel is very next to the night club zone; people in the reception are very very friendly and I will go back for sure in that hotel! |

we stay over the happy new year.we have very good time at the hotel.the staff make very good time.if you take house with nr 110 to 114 you have restuarang and pool about 30 meters from you.very good.we have that..... |

Fabulous place, the most breathtaking surroundings, gorgeous and specious bungalows. Fresh and yummy breakfast, very friendly staff, complements to Paul. Will definitively come back soon! |

Samui Laguna Resort, Lamai Beach
Mixed reviews on this resort but I do use the word resort loosely! When we arrived we were shown to the bungalow which is what we booked with a view of a lagoon, which would have been fine if it were not for the construction crew set up 10 feet from our deck. At least they didn t start with the power saw until later in the morning!
There were no towels, no hot water and various other things when we checked in that were fixed soon. Just don t expect much - I put in some laundry and it took more than a day and a half, but I did get a bonus of some men s underwear and towels which were not mine. Also, we book airport transfer for 10 am which magically changed to 9am which no one bothered to tell us about...
There is one desk clerk who speaks and understands English and really the only one who was helpful -- he was great! We got to the point that we waited until he was on shift in the afternoon before asking about anything!
I understand cost is higher during the peak season but it was still way over priced for any season.....The restaurant service was good, the food okay....and, as an added bonus, a desk clerk stopped our van on the way to the airport to collect payment for the motorbikes we had rented and PAID for five days earlier!
During regular pricing season, this would meet expectations but a tip - get a receipt marked paid for everything that you pay the desk for! |
