Aonang Villa is surrounded by inspiring scenery of Ao Nang Beach; the hotel is situated in the midst of everything (shops & restaurant etc) of Ao Nang in Krabi Province. Few steps walk to the beach, enjoy the spectacular sunset while walk along the beach.
All guest rooms are contemporary Thai style decor with touches of wood, silk and cotton and accents of color. Full furnished with all amenities consist are Safety box, mini bar, hair dryer, coffee & tea maker, satellite TV, private balcony.
The Restaurant and Pool bars are set in a large outdoor sala spot; it’s a relaxing place to be during at night, a wide range menu including local Thai specialties, steak, pasta, and pizza.

I must say, that we have expected a better quality of the room compared to the rommrate. A VERY old television, a little bit better finish in the room generally speaking. The balcony could indeed need som paint, but a perfect location. And a very professionel handling of the tsunami warning some days ago.

It worked, and that was perfect. Must say that I thought there would some better offers and discount, when we booked 21 days. A little bit disapointing.

We verbeleven 4 nachten in Aonang villa en het had wel langer mogen duren. De kamers zijn mooi en schoon. de zwembaden zijn geweldig met een prachtig uitzicht en het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ondanks dat dit hotel wel duur is vo thaise begrippen was het het zeker waard.

Having read many reviews, we chose this hotel because of its great location. We have two connecting Superier Deluxe rooms. Rooms are really big and comfortable though not deluxe. Free Wifi in the lobby and yet still usable in balconies. Everything is moderate and staff are friendly. Price right for this quality.

Only negative was no elevator.

The beach are not that clean and if you didn t leave your towel at the pool by 5.30 am you couldn t get a sunbed.

This hotel is wonderful, from its location to the facilities on offer its a great choice. We stayed during low season and really got value for money. The room was great overlooking the pool and the majority of staff were very friendly. The pools were beautiful with wonderful views. The beach which was amazing was just a few steps from the hotel. Plently of bars/restaurants/shops just at the end of the hotel entrance. The massages poolside were very good value for money. I m looking forward to booking again.

Ao Nang Villa was just okay. In their defence, we had just come from a 4-5 star hotel in Singapore, but in comparison Ao Nang Villa was sadly lacking. There were no facilities to iron our crumpled clothes other than the hotel laundry, which took four hours for its quickest service. The rooms were very hot unless you left the key in the slot, but they only gave one key per couple, so this was impossible.
We dined at their main restaurant on the first night as we were tired and my husband wanted the lobster advertised on a big billboard at the door. However, they had no lobster as the hotel was too quiet and we hadn t preordered it!! Why then was the billboard not taken down?
The staff were not as friendly as we are used to in Thai hotels, and it took forever to get anything from housekeeping, ie my daughter waited ten hours to get a mattress topper for her incredibly hard bed, and this was after constant repeated calls, we called for extra towels, and got extra doonas etc. etc.
If you dialled any number such as housekeeping, spa, etc. there was never any answer, but the front desk always answered and put us through.
Overall in my view it barely rates a 3 star, 2.5 at best.
