About the hotel: Charming and relaxing resort with polite and friendly staff.
Too many dogs in the resort, begging for food in the restaurant and around the check-in/out desk.

About the hotel: We were blown away by the incredible natural beauty of this resort. The mountains, the mist, the trees, the river..all so magical. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. All four of us agreed that the Thai massages were the best we d had yet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast needs improvement.
About the reservation service: Sawasdee are always very professional.
About the hotel: It has to said that its VERY basic but then for the price we paid we had a good time. The rooms are positioned well (although there alot of steps!) and its quite magical waking up in the morning to the swirling mists. The beds were hard - really hard! and the accomodation basic but adequate - a quick swill down of the bathroom usually removed most of the insects! But it was what we expected and it was good to stay near the national park where we went elephant riding, canoeing and hiking. All in all we had a good time
About the hotel: The resort was exactly as advertised. Scenery spectacular and location stunning. Not suitable for those only used to 5* hotel pampering and luxury! mattresses like rocks and bed linen interesting and practically non existent. Bathroom facilities Japanese garden style and hence open to the skies. Privacy hard to come by. Very long drive not helped by inadequate road signage and signs to the resort itself.
About the hotel: Beutiful surrounding - the nicely decorated cabanas have a breathtaking view to the cliffs. Nice little pool and very friendly manager. But the staff does not speak nor understand a word in english and the breakfast is very poor - cold scrumbled egg and no fruits at all. We stayed there for 3 nights. If we would stay again in Khao Sok we probably would look for another hotel?
About the hotel: Lovely hotel, located in an amazing countryside. Comfprtable and big bungalows with large terrace. Toilet and shower with an open air view. From the pool you have a magnificent view over the landscape. Friendly stuff, especially the manager makes everything possible for you. He organises further transport, although in our case we were set off before our destination because they refused to pay the ferry which was promised and had to go on our selves. Food in the restaurant is good but due to the stuffs poor english you often do not get what you ordered. Breakfast is ok, when there are many guests they have a buffet, but the focus is on asian style breakfast. We can recommand this place and had a great time there.
About the hotel: We stayed for 4 nights in January during a 5 week holiday in SE Asia and this was one of our favourite and cheapest places. Khao Sok is very beautiful. This resort is situated about 10 minutes (by car) from the main entrance of the National Park. We had a hire car so this was no problem.
It is simple and tasteful accommodation with spectacular views of the mountains. It is a very peaceful and serene venue which we just adored. The gardens are beautiful and the staff extremely friendly. Breakfast is a very simple affair but served our needs.
We ate dinner most nights at the very little village near the entrance to the National Park. This village is purpose built for tourists but has a really nice atmosphere. There are a few mini marts, several inexpensive restaurants and tour companies. There are also a few resorts there however, we were very happy to return to the idyllic peace and quiet of our little resort a at the end of each day.
We highly recommend this venue!
About the reservation service: As always no problem. However we are feeling very reluctant about prepaying the entire accommodation costs so far in advance in future.
About the hotel: I pretty dissappoint for this hotel. It isn t a dream hotel as many peoples knew. The room smell bad and old furnish. Don t expect too much for this hotel actually. I meant to stay there but everything seem that terrible, so I decided to move to another after checkin just one hour.
About the reservation service: Sawaddee is really good service, fast and professional

LOCATION & MAP
Khao Sok National Park in
Southern Thailand is an amazing place. It is covered by the oldest
evergreen rainforest in the world, huge limestone mountains shooting
straight up in the air, deep valleys, breathtaking lakes, exciting caves,
wild animals and much more.
Khao
Sok is a fantastic place to go on vacation. Elephant trekking, trekking on foot, canoeing and jeep safaris are all possible
activities, which will give you the experience of a lifetime. Khao Sok is perfectly situated on the mainland between Phuket, Krabi,
Khao Lak and Koh Samui, the most popular destinations in southern
Thailand.
Khao Sok is well known for its limestone mountains. The highest
limestone peak is 960 m high, but the average height is 400-600 m.
The National Park consists of:
40 % foothill rainforest
27 % rainforest plains
15 % limestone crag vegetation
15 % lowland scrub
3 % rainforest at 600-1000 m.
The nature here has more in
common with the Malaysian forest than the forest in the north of Thailand.
Compared to the forests of the north the forest in Khao Sok is taller,
darker, more humid and evergreen.
